When I engrave the ZALQ plaques I have a problem where he text comes out spotted. I've tried a few variables and can't seem to fix the problem. I'm wondering if it might be the pebbly finish on them. I've attached pictures of one plaque I ran.

It turns out for some reason the power for this file is only set at 30% where most other pieces with the same black textured finish are set at 40%. The laser was not getting deep enough. I unlocked my files, saved the power at 40% and relocked. Now its engraving correctly.
