Trouble with ZTMB02 Music Box

When trying to laser the ZTMB02 music box with the 656200102848 design, the autofocus does not work correctly. It focuses on the 3/4" jig. Any suggestions?

On layouts that have artwork that goes over the edge, we need to use a work around to make sure the autofocus lands on the piece. The layout you are working with (656200102848) is a great example. The edge artwork is in green by default and the text in the middle is black. When the laser decides where to autofocus, it uses the black text. Below is picture that shows about where the autofocus would come down (the black '+' mark)

If you remove all the black, the only thing the laser has to work on is the green. So it focuses right about here

Also, if you change the green to black, the same thing happens (focuses on the jig). Were you trying to run the piece without any black text?

It started with the black items and they really burned badly into the wood - illegible. then when it went back to do the green, I saw that the autofocus sensor was way too low so I ended the job before it broke off.
