New Items

We just got our shipment in from market with new items, but a lot of it has been backordered. Any idea when those will be ready to ship? Is there some kind of alert system or anything? I'm particularly interested in the new red plaques since we've already had requests for Confirmation gifts. Also, we don't have files or product images for any of these new items. Is there an ETA for that?

You have received a few items as these often slip into orders once they hit shelves. Mid-February is when you should expect to receive a catalog update, new files, sample packs, etc. for the laser program, as well as the rest of your product. We are shipping the Word Blocks as we had specific requests for these to be ready in time for Valentine’s Day.

We see that there was a new laser file created on Feb 4. Is there going to be another release later this month? We are still missing the file for the coasters (ZCOA04).

Files will continue trickling in this month as they are completed. In particular, the ZCOA04 files have just been added. They'll appear in the archive tomorrow (Saturday). When using the Personalized Gifts January 2014 Product Guide for scanning, a lot of the products come up "Not found". When I looked at the contents of the Laser file download, the products have A and B versions. For example, ZFCD09 (A&B), ZFCD17(A&B), and ZFCD06 (A&B), but there is no mention of this in the product book. Is this going to be corrected in the new catalog (have barcodes for both A & B)? Are there light/dark versions of the product? Can we just change the names of the files to drop the A and/or B?

It sounds like you may be looking at the "Product Guide" which is intended for ordering blank products. The barcodes all have 12 digit numbers under them which correspond to the blank product UPC.
You will want to be using the scan book which has the SKU listed under the barcode. This will have both Dark and Light (A and B) barcodes as appropriate.
The Jan 2014 supplemental scan book is found under Documentation (http://www.laserengravings.info/forum/content.php?130-Scan-Books-and-Catalogs) if you don't already have a copy.
